Al Rauber's concentration on EVP has given him well-deserved respect in the field of psychic investigation. Investigating the Lizzie Borden house with MonsterQuest yielded many EVP and is the source of his most requested lecture. He is was a recent guest on AnythingGhost with Lex Wahl and has appeared on The PSI Show with Dan Sturgess and Larry Hewitt.
Investigating claims of haunting phenomena all over the US and Europe, he has appeared on a number of world-wide television productions and has consulted for practically every serious major TV show on the paranormal. He continues his lectures today and you can his topics here.
He and Garrett Husveth had been working independently on psychic investigations when they founded Haunted New Jersey (HNJ) around 2000.
Gordon Thomas Ward, a popular NJ writer and paranormal investigator, later joined the group. Both Al and Gordon decided to continue Haunted New Jersey following Garrett's death in 2011.
